Josiah Andrew Hill, age 21, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022, at Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky.

Born November 27, 2000, in Amarillo, Texas, he is the son of Steve and Jill Hill of Morehead, Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, Josiah is survived by his brothers Judah, Yisaac, Jonah, Yissachar, Jakin, Yezekiel, and Justice, and one sister, Jerusalem.  His paternal grandparents are Glen and Melissa Hill of Amarillo, Texas.  His maternal grandparents are Dennis and Carole Karwatka of Morehead, Kentucky.  He is also survived by other extended family.

Josiah was majoring in convergent media and enjoyed making films, music videos, and scripted videos with his siblings. He was a gifted artist and even created his own music. He enjoyed basketball, lifting weights, and making new friends.

Josiah loved making people laugh and reaching out to anyone that looked left out.  He was full of life and shared joy wherever he went.

Josiah was a loving son, brother, and friend.  He loved his large family and traveled with them on ministry trips in the Philippines and in the United States.  His relationship with the Lord was very important to him and he wanted to connect others to Jesus.  Josiah will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.  A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.

Pallbearers will be Matt Oesch, J.L. Oesch, Sarah Oesch, Jason McKenzie, Judah Hill, and Yisaac Hill.
