Joshua Babalmoradi, age 39, of Flemingsburg, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Fleming County Hospital in Flemingsburg.

He was born November 29, 1986, in Louisville, Kentucky, and was a son of the late Virgie Johnson Gamble and Abbas Babalmoradi.

Joshua is survived by two brothers, Vandad Babalmoradi of Louisa, Kentucky, and Kenny Hisle of Flemingsburg, Kentucky; one sister, Cheryl Britton of Flemingsburg, Kentucky; two uncles, Asa Johnson (Amy) of Morehead, Kentucky, and Majid Babalmoradi (Loretta) of Louisville, Kentucky; and one aunt, Lydia Hensley (Kelse) of West Liberty, Kentucky.

He is also survived by special cousins Acena (Aaron) Beck and their son, Carter, Michael (Jamie) Stigall and their daughter, Emilee, Garret (Tia) Hensley, their children, Alonzo, Tennille, and Colton, Kira (Jeremy) Cauley, and their daughter, Kylei, as well as Gordi "Bob" Babalmoradi, Bibi Babalmoradi, and Alice Babalmoradi along with extended family and friends who loved him dearly.

Joshua had a heart of gold and especially enjoyed visiting with family and listening to country music. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m.  Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Caudill Cemetery on Sharkey Road, with Pastor Mark Caldwell officiating.

Pallbearers will be Asa Johnson, Kelse Hensley, Michael Stigall, and Aaron Beck.
