Josey Starr Murphy, precious daughter of Shannon and Kerry Alderman Murphy of Morehead, Kentucky, joined the Heavenly Angels at birth April 6, 2010, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, In addition to her parents, Josey is lovingly remembered by maternal grandparents, Buster and Janet Black Alderman and the late Bill and Tiny Black; paternal grandparents, David and Betty Jo Caudill Murphy; maternal great grandparents, Earl and Betty Stewart Alderman; paternal great grandparents, Arvel and Ivetta Plank Caudill and paternal great-great grandmother, Lenora Perkins Murphy, all of Morehead, Kentucky. Other survivors include aunts and uncles Abby Alderman, Kim Alderman Armstrong and Chase, Amanda Alderman Scott and Brian, Carmen Nickell, Robin Black, Jim and Donna Nickell, Bill and Tammy Black, Mike and Kris Alderman, David and Terri Alderman, and Bradley Murphy. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Brown Cemetery with the Rev. Ben Furman and Rev. Paul Prabell officiating.
