Ithel Jorene Mays Brewer, age 83, of Moores Flat Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born April 1, 1929, in Morgan County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Ollie and Martha Eldridge Mays. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Roy Mays; two sisters, Barbara Wilder and Juanita Rice; and two infant daughters. Jorene is survived by her husband of 66 years, Carl Jerry Brewer; two sons, Danny Ray Brewer and Harold Gene Brewer and his wife Edna, of Morehead, Kentucky; three granddaughters, Levita Jean Larson and husband Bruce of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Lesia Eldridge and husband Darrin of Ringos Mills, Kentucky, and Angela Watson and husband Jason of Leitchfield, Kentucky, and four great grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Larson and Norea and Alexander Watson. Also surviving are three sisters, Ivory Howard of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, Joyce McGuire of Farmers, Kentucky, and Leona Mays of Grayson, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Mrs. Brewer was the owner and operator of Brewer-s Mini Home for 17 years. Graveside services will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2012, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Brian Farmer officiating. Pallbearers will be Huey Evans, Terry Mann, Mark Donahue, Dewey McGuire, Jason Watson, and Darrin Eldridge.
