Jonathan W. "Jon" Hamm, 48, of Monticello, Indiana, passed away at his residence on Saturday, January 5, 2019. He was born October 2, 1970, in Morehead, Kentucky, to Woodrow "Junior - Woody" Hamm and the late Cheryl Ann Rath Hamm. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Merranda Hamm; step children, Meagan B. Hillary and Tanner B. Robinette, all of Monticello, Indiana; a sister, Sunshine (JR) Henderson; a niece, Sheyanne Wharton, all of Lafayette, Indiana; mother and step father-in-law, Christy and Robert Yard of Hamlet, Indiana; father-in-law, Daniel Plunkett of Crawfordsville, Indiana; brother-in-law, Jeremy (Michelle) Robinson of Greenfield, Indiana; sister-in-law, Sarina (Robert) Browne of Delphi, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; as well as other relatives in Kentucky and Ohio. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Ann Rath Hamm; maternal grandparents, Phillip and Virginia Rath; and paternal grandmother, Ethel Hamm. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019, at Masters Cemetery with Elder Cephas Littleton officiating.
