Johnny Eugene "John" Jett, age 44, of Jett Lane, Wallingford, passed away Sunday October 22, 2017. Born January 23, 1973, in Flemingsburg, he is the only child of Johnny and Donna Marshall Jett of Wallingford. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Jonathan Jett and Nicholas Jett; paternal grandfather, Eugene Jett; the mother of his children, Shelly Hunt, all of Flemingsburg; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends. John was a heavy equipment operator with Local Union 181 and attended the Victory Baptist Church in Flemingsburg. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Leota Hawkins Jett; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Norma Conley Marshall; and uncle, William Eugene "Billy" Jett. Funerals services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017, at the Hutton Funeral Home with Brother Shawn Meade officiating. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2017, at the Hutton Funeral Home, 7634 Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, KY 41049.
