Johnnie Allen Hamm, age 32, of Cherry Lane, Salt Lick, passed away in Allen County, Ohio. Born September 24, 1986, in Morehead, he is the son of Kathy Stamper Davis of Salt Lick and the late Clifford Allen Hamm. In addition to his mother, Johnnie is survived by one son, Cameron Allen Hamm; "special mention," Cass and Jordan; one brother, Cody Davis; two sisters, Heather Boyd Ison (spouse Scottie Caudill) and Chasity Hamm Adams (husband Brad Adams), all of Morehead; several nieces and nephews who refer to him as "Uncle Bub," many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Kenny Fulton, and an aunt, Janet Caskey. Johnnie was a self-employed construction worker and a former union welder. He loved time with his family, picking at his nieces and nephews, and working on vehicles. His greatest joy and love was talking and spending time with his 6-year old son, who was his hero, as well as his pride and joy! Private graveside services will be conducted Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Brown Cemetery. Following the service, a celebration of life will take place at Cave Run Spillway.
