John Sidney Quesinberry, 77, of Quesinberry Road, Morehead, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015, at his residence. Born March 26, 1938, in Clearfield, he was a son of the late Elzie and Verna Mae Lambert Quesinberry. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, J. D. Quesinberry, and one son, Andrew Quesinberry. He is survived by his wife, Vernie Markwell Quesinberry, whom he married November 23, 1959; seven sons, Charles Dean Quesinberry of Elliott County, Randy Gene Quesinberry of Morehead, Jeffery (Mary) Quesinberry of Morehead, William Quesinberry of Middletown, Ohio, Vince Quesinberry of Morehead, Glenn (Crystal) Quesinberry of Elliott County, and Jason (Kim) Quesinberry of Morehead; three daughters, Susie (Mark) Stamper of Elliott County, Cindy Perry of Morehead, and Jessica Quesinberry of Morehead; 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Other survivors include two brothers, Dennis (Louise) Quesinberry and Gary Quesinberry, all of Morehead; two sisters, Rhesa Karen (Charley) Walker of Grayson and Tempa Sharon (Daryl) Thomas of Morehead; extended family; and friends. John served in the U.S. Army was a truck driver for 43 years with various trucking companies and retired from Coast to Coast in 2007. When he was able, he liked to coon hunt and fish and always loved telling jokes. John will be greatly missed. Graveside serves and burial will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015, at Quesinberry Cemetery #2, with Brother Gerald Saunders officiating.
