John Bjarne Lyon, age 70, of Highway 801 South, Morehead, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018, at his residence. Born November 25, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, he was a son of the late John Shir Lyon and Hanna Corinna Olson Lyon. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Clayborn Lyon, on August 15, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kathy Krafft Lyon, whom he married October 4, 1993; two sons, Luke Bjarne Lyon and wife LaGonda of Morehead, and John Robert Lyon of Columbus, Ohio; and extended family and friends. John was a former mechanic for U.P.S. and enjoyed Muskie fishing and making Muskie baits with his wife. John was a caring and giving person who will be missed by all.
