John William Horsley, age 78, of Deer Lick Road, Morehead, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born November 22, 1944, in Rowan County, he was a son of the late William Whatt Horsley and Maxine Jane Quiggle Horsley. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Horsley.

John is survived by two brothers, Randall Joe Horsley of Middlesboro, Kentucky, and Warren Horsley and wife Beverly of Newark, Illinois; two sisters, Ada Ingle and husband Carl and Juanita Wagoner, all of Morehead; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Siloam Cemetery with Brother Charlie Hamm officiating.
