Jocie Alma Crose Dillon, age 94, of Fraley Ridge, Morehead, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014, at Edgewood Estates in Frenchburg. Born April 22, 1920, in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Sammy and Barbara Alice Sparks Crose. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Howard Dillon, three daughters, Thelma Dillon, Nora Dillon, and Dorothy Mae Anderson. Jocie's husband, Lawrence Albert Dillon, passed away November 28, 1996. She is survived by two sons, Herman Dillon and wife Eula Faye and Junior Dillon and wife Dottie, all of Clearfield; one daughter, Edith Edna Offill and husband Billy of Morehead; one brother, Cebert Crose of Bloomington, Illinois; 7 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren. Jocie was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Gary Madden officiating. Burial will follow in Crix Cemetery. Pallbearers: Rodney Shepherd, Jimmy Lipps, Dennis Lambert, Matthew Lipps, Chris Offill, and Zack Raikes.
