JoAnne Butler Middleton, age 68, of Bramblewood Lane, Morehead, passed away Friday, August 21, 2020, at her residence after an extended illness.

Born May 11, 1952, in Mansfield, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late William "Doc" Butler and Faye Mays Butler.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Middleton, and a daughter, Rosemary Cole.

JoAnne is survived by five sons, Buddy Middleton (Kathy) of Morehead, Harvey Middleton, Chris Middleton (Donna), Stephen Middleton (Stephanie), and Michael Middleton, all of Carter County; one daughter, Delenia Mayle of Olive Hill; two sisters, Cherline Williams of Millersburg, and Tiawatha Webb (Donnie) of Carlisle; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
