Joann McDaniel Riddle, age 82, of Rose Road, Clearfield, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Hospice of Hope in Maysville. Born June 11, 1935, in Murray, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Lily Brann McDaniel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sue Smith and Jean Davis. She is survived by her two children, Janet Almendarez and husband Andy, and Jeffrey Riddle and wife Vicky, all of Clearfield; one sister, Judy Young of Jefferson City, Missouri; four grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Joann was a homemaker and a former factory worker. She attended the Aurora Baptist Church and enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching the Game Show Network. At her request, there will be no visitation or service. Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead is caring for arrangements.
