Jimmy Darrell Stiles, age 61, of Tunnel Cut Loop, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at his residence. He was born January 8, 1947, in Noblesville, Indiana, and was the son of the late Garland and Mildred Tinsley Stiles. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Stiles. Darrell is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carolyn Sue Adkins Stiles, whom he married April 4, 1964; three daughters, Tresa Ann Bowman and husband Matthew of Cynthiana, Kentucky, Sue Lyn McClain and husband Jeff of Morehead, Kentucky, Missi Ingles and husband David of Olive Hill, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Chelsea Bowman, Chase Bowman, Keshia McClain, Taylor McClain, Heather Watson, and Josh Ingles; and two great grandchildren, Colby Watson and William Lewis. Other survivors include one brother, Kim Stiles of Georgetown, Kentucky and one sister, Charlotte Alles of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Darrell was a former carpet layer with Stiles and Sons Carpet in Marion, Indiana, and enjoyed drawing, fishing and playing with his grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, October 9, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Brian Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Bowen Chapel Cemetery in Carter County, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be David Ingles, Matt Bowman, Jeff McClain, Daniel Dillon, Sonny Henderson, and Ronnie Douglas, Jr. Visitation is after 4 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
