Jimmy Tal Lunsford, age 50, of Mocabee Creek Road, Olive Hill, KY, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, at his residence following an extended illness.

He was born September 25, 1974, in Olive Hill, the son of James William and Connie Lemaster Lunsford.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jodie Lunsford; one nephew, Jodie Lee Lunsford; and a special friend, Oleta Whisman.

Jimmy is survived by two sisters, Barbara Jean Lunsford (Darren Caudill), Penny Robin Lunsford; and one brother, Billy Lunsford, all of Olive Hill; three nephews, Chad Jaynes, Jordan Watts, and Cody Lunsford; and two special cousins, Suzy Hamm and Mary Lemaster, as well as extended family and friends.

Jimmy greatly enjoyed collecting cartoon characters, spending time with his family and friends, and spoiling his favorite animals, Pebbles, his pony, and Josie, his dog.  He also loved listening to music, eating Chinese food, and most of all devouring Jordan's cooking!  Jimmy was always "a kid at heart" and will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered forever.

A funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother David Rayburn officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lunsford Cemetery on Mocabee Creek.

Pallbearers will be Darren Caudill, Chad Jaynes, Jordan Watts, Cody Lunsford, Stephen Bair, and Bryan Fraley.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 12 noon on Tuesday at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
