Obituary

Jimmy Dean Caudill, age 56, of Spring Street, Mt. Sterling, was born February 26, 1960, in Johnson County, and passed away April 11, 2016, at his residence surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Joyce Howard Caudill; his father, Tillman Caudill; and his stepmother, Janet Caudill, all of Mt. Sterling. He is also survived by two sons, Brandon Caudill of Mt. Sterling and James K. (Angie) Caudill of Richmond; one daughter, Jessica Caudill of Lexington; the mother of his children, Rebecca Rogers Caudill Gross of Mt. Sterling; two brothers, Terry (Rhea) Caudill of Mt. Sterling and Tommy Caudill of Henderson; one sister, Judy (Freddie) Alcorn of Carlisle, Ohio; two granddaughters, Savannah Nipper and Jayla Caudill; other relatives and friends. Jimmy was a U.S. Army veteran and a former delivery driver for S & S Tire in Lexington. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Solid Rock Apostolic Church. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2016, at Solid Rock Apostolic Church with Pastor Daniel Carter and Assistant Pastor Josh Layne officiating. Burial will follow in the Rogers Chapel Cemetery in Powell County. Pallbearers: Ronald Earl Williams, Junior Williams, Donald Williams, Nathaniel Colley, Bobby Arnett, and Robert Skaggs. Honorary pallbearers: Aziz Messaoudi and Shawn Johnson. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Solid Rock Apostolic Church, 7500 U.S. 60 West, Morehead. Memorial contributions are being accepted for the Jimmy Dean Caudill Monument Fund. Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead is caring for arrangements.
