Jewell Catron Seagraves, age 83, of Old Flemingsburg Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June 14, 2010, at the Life Care Center in Morehead, Kentucky. She was born June 18, 1926, in Elliottville, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late John and Kate Nickles Catron. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Olive Lee Pierce and Pauline Johnson, and one brother, Franklin Catron. Jewell-s husband, Frankie Seagraves, passed away February 21, 2006. She is survived by three sisters, Maxine Stephens of Lebanon, Ohio, Martha Silcox of Ypsilanti, Michigan, and Christine Johnson of Morehead, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. Jewell was a member of the First Apostolic Church. Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Kenneth Binion officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
