Jewell Kidd Carr, age 86, of Allen Avenue, Morehead, wife of Walter Carr, passed away Wednesday at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. Also surviving are three children, Brenda Reeves and Pat Carr, both of Covington, Louisiana, and Cindy Jones of Ojai, California; three stepchildren, Susan Thomas of Cincinnati, Ohio, Walter Dennis Carr of Charleston, South Carolina, and Richard Carr of Dana Point, California; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel Sparkman of Morehead and Charlotte Russell of Salt Lick; a special nephew, Johnny Broughton; other relatives; and friends. Private services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013. at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Dr. J. D. Reeder officiating. Interment will be in Lee Cemetery.
