Jerry Carl "Pap" Brewer, age 95, of Moores Flat Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at the Life Care Center in Morehead.

Born April 2, 1927, in Morgan County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Jerry Marr Brewer and Myrtle Link Brewer.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Ithel Jorene Mays Brewer on April 28, 2012; two infant daughters; and several siblings.

He is survived by two sons, Harold Gene Brewer and his wife Edna and Danny Ray Brewer, all of Morehead, Kentucky; three granddaughters, Levita Jean Larson and husband Bruce of Morehead, Kentucky, Lesia Eldridge and husband Darrin of Ringos Mills, Kentucky, and Angela Watson and husband Jason of Leitchfield, Kentucky, four great grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Larson and Norea and Alexander Watson; one sister, Evelyn DeVore of Morehead; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Brewer was a dairy farmer and attended the House of Prayer. He enjoyed reading the Bible and gardening, especially growing tomatoes.

Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon Friday, December 9, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Joe Cline officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Friday, December 9, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
