Jerry Coleman McClurg, age 67, of Jeffersonville, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015, at his residence. Born February 16, 1948, in Richmond, Indiana, he is the son of Alma Ruth Cox McClurg of Jeffersonville and the late Wilford A. McClurg. In addition to his mother, Jerry is survived by two brothers, Wilford McClurg of Blanchester, Ohio, and Timothy Mark McClurg of Jeffersonville; several nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Jerry was a member of the Jeffersonville Baptist Church and enjoyed watching U. K. ballgames and the Grand Ole Opry, listening to gospel music, and attending activities at Jeffersonville Senior Citizens Center. Funeral services will 12 noon Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Winston McClurg officiating. Burial will follow in Caudill Cemetery, Sharkey Road. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
