Jerry Duane 'J.D.' Maschino II, age 22, of Olympia, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born January 7, 1993, in Lexington, J. D. is the son of Jerry Duane Maschino of Morehead and Alice Crum Reffett and Mike Reffett, his stepfather, of Olympia. He is also survived by one brother, Derek Glenn Maschino and wife Tabitha of Mt. Sterling; two sisters, Alisha Maschino of Olympia and Renee Crouch and husband Josh of Preston; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Jewell Keith Maschino of Morehead; maternal grandmother, Nina Jane Thomas of Salt Lick; and paternal great grandparents, Ray and Susan Geveden Peyton of Morehead. Other survivors include one niece, Sadie Rae Maschino; several aunts and uncles; extended family members; and many friends. J. D. was an employee of Precision Resources in Mt. Sterling and a 2011 graduate of Bath County High School where he was a member of the varsity basketball team. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing corn hole, and especially spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gary Edward Crum. A celebration of life will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Allan Alvarez officiating. Burial will follow in Oldfield Cemetery in Owingsville. Pallbearers: Carey Anderson, Johnny Nill, Hayden Swartz, Cody House, Kyle Adkins, and D. J. Adkins.
