Jerry Wayne Botkin, age 50, of Junction Road, Ewing, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at his residence. Born June 18, 1959, in Maysville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Douglas and Lois Bellamy Botkin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Botkin. Mr. Botkin is survived by his wife, Peggy Ratliff Botkin; one son, Tommy Botkin at home; two brothers, Gary Botkin of Ripley Ohio, and Larry Botkin of Portland, Oregon; one sister, Angie Ishmael of Sherburne, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Cassandra Botkin, Taylor Botkin, and Brittany Hawkins; and several nieces and nephews. Jerry was a self-employed mechanic. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009, at Hutton Funeral Home with Brother Gerald Saunders officiating.
