Obituary

Jennett Jessie Douglas Cline Hinton, age 80, of Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born October 10, 1932, in Carter County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Estill and Faye Carroll Jessie. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mathel Jessie one brother Estill Jessie, Jr.; one daughter, Margaret Faye Douglas; and her husbands, James Estill Douglas, George Harlan Cline, and Leroy C. Hinton. Jennett is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Douglas Brown Spencer of Clearfield, Kentucky; one son, James Douglas and wife Teresa of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and four grandchildren, Devenia Douglas, Nathan Douglas, Phillip David Brown, and James David Brown; and one great granddaughter, Sarah Grace Brown. Other survivors include three sisters, Verna Wilson of Morehead, Kentucky, and Sue Burton and Delma Sloane, both of Olive Hill, Kentucky; three brothers, David Jessie of Morehead, Kentucky, Leonard Jessie of Plymouth, Ohio, and Coy Jessie of Olive Hill, Kentucky; nieces and nephews; extended family members; and friends. Jennett was a former nurse's assistant at St. Claire Regional Medical Center and enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: David Burton, Mark Burton, Carlos Burton, Jr., Danny Wilson, Gene Holbrook, and Nathan Douglas. Honorary pallbearers: Allen Riley, John David Brown, and Keith Hall. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead, Kentucky. Visitation: Saturday, September 14, 2013, after 6 p.m. Funeral: Sunday, September 15, 2013, at 2 p.m. Interment: Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens
