Jeffrey Wade Ellington, age 54, of Clearfield Hill, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2007, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. He was born August 17, 1953, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and is the son of Anna Ruth Sergent Ellington of Clearfield and the late Chester E. Ellington. In addition to his mother, Jeff is survived by one brother, David Blaine Ellington of Morehead, Kentucky; one niece, Melissa Sparks and her husband Bryon; one nephew, K-len Ellington; and one great niece, Madison Sparks. He was a self-employed painter and carpenter and attended the Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Mark Caldwell and the Rev. Gary McQuain officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellington Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charlie Henderson, Howard McVey, Barry Adkins, Bobby Turner, Kenny Robinson, and David Blaine Ellington.
