Jeffery Ray Hogge, age 53, of Mynhier Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2009, at his residence. He was born July 9, 1955, in Menifee County, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Wilson and Sue Clark Hogge. Jeff is survived by his wife, Tina Walker Hogge; two sons, Matthew Hogge of Rochester, Michigan, and Rob Hunter of Morehead, Kentucky; three daughters, Sue and Mikey Hall of Grayson, Kentucky, Brandy Hogge of Morehead, Kentucky, and Tabitha and Michael Mabry of Morehead, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Cole Lawhorn, Tray Mabry, the late Myka Mabry; and many others who called Jeff -Papaw.- Other family includes siblings Billy Joe and Loretta Hogge of Marion, Indiana, the late Jerry Hogge and his wife Gayle Hogge of Owingsville, Kentucky, Mary Sue Crouch of Salt Lick, Kentucky, and her husband the late Gene Crouch, Kitty McQueen of Marion, Indiana, Georgie and Bill McKenzie of Morehead, Kentucky, the late Brenda Long and her husband Ray Long of Morehead, Kentucky, Peggy Hawley of Rochester, Michigan, and her husband the late Jim Hawley; other very special family members; and his late sisters, Renda Kay and Shirley Gayle Hogge. Other very special friends are Carl and Jeannie Lawhorn (Children of My Heart), Larry Campbell, and the late Lee Melton. Jeff loved his flea market yard sales and -buying and selling junk.- Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Randall Jackson and Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Campbell, Carl Lawhorn, Rob Hunter, Scotty Crouch, William Copher, and David Mason. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday, anytime Wednesday and before the service on Thursday at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Claire Hospice, 222 Medical Circle, Morehead, KY Visitation: Tuesday, May 4, 2009, after 4 p.m. , anytime Wednesday Funeral: Thursday, May 7, 2009, at 3 p.m. Interment: Brown Cemetery
