Jeanette Fultz Madden, age 78, of Trumbo Road, Morehead, departed this life Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at the Life Care Center of Morehead. She was born July 22, 1936, in Rowan County to the late Charlie Fultz and Callie Bailey Fultz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death one brother, Bill Fultz. Her husband of 61 years, Herbert Madden, whom she married April 14, 1951, departed this life on May 16, 2012. She leaves family to mourn her passing; six sons, Jeffery Madden of Morehead, Steven and Rita Madden of Olive Hill, Gary and Tammy Madden of Morehead, Phillip and Jennifer Madden of Olive Hill, Jerrild and Diane Madden of Lexington, Loren and Melissa Madden of West Liberty; three sisters, Inita Sparkman, Betty Jo Davis, and Phyllis Utterback, all of Morehead; a sister-in-law, Betty Jo Fultz of Morehead; ten grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She also leaves behind other relatives and friends as well as brothers and sisters in Christ who will miss her too. Mrs. Madden was a homemaker and member of the Soldier Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Delmar Logan, Jr. and Pastor Elwood Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Bowen Chapel Cemetery in Carter County. Grandsons Ross, Matthew, Josh, Caleb, Asa, and Collin Madden, will serve as pallbearers.
