J. C. Stamper, age 72, of Heritage Place, Morehead, KY, passed away Monday, July 4, 2022, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born January 11, 1950, in Wolfe County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Joe Stamper and Alva Hollon Stamper.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Dorsie, Curtis, and Elmer Stamper, and two sisters, Ima Jean Cates and Elizabeth Ross.

He is survived by two daughters, JoBeth (Ray) Adkins of West Liberty, KY, and Kristan Stamper of Georgetown, KY; two sons, Michael Stamper of Frankfort, KY, and T. J. Stamper of Georgetown, KY; three grandchildren, Kaylee Dunn, Kyndall Adkins, and Tucker Adkins; one sister, Shirley Riley of Georgetown; one brother, Henry Clay (Mona) Stamper of West Liberty, KY; extended family and friends.
