Jason Trent, age 46, of Criqueside Drive, Morehead, passed away November 11, 2023, at his residence.

Born December 15, 1976, in Lexington, he was the son of the late Virda Junior Trent and Lovedia Smith Trent.

Jason is survived by his fiancée, Elizabeth Logan and her daughter Shyann, of Morehead; one daughter, Ashley Loveyonne Trent, at home; one brother, Ricky Trent of Morehead; four sisters, Rhonda (Leo) Dehart of Morehead, Bonnie Baker of Morehead, Donna (Rob) Puckett of Olive Hill, and Vicky (Jeffrey) Riddle of Clearfield; one uncle, Vercil Trent of Morehead, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jason was a master electrician and was currently employed by St. Claire HealthCare. He was a former Trent Electric employee for 25 years.  Jason enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, bow shooting, kayaking, shooting guns, and cooking. Because of his skill, he was known as the "grill master." Other interests included playing the guitar, woodworking, and visiting with family and friends. He will be missed and always remembered.

A visitation honoring Jason will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
