James L. Weathers, 77, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 17, 2021, at U.K. Bluegrass Hospice Care after a short illness.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Madonna Weathers; children: John Weathers (Dina) of Portland, Oregon, Sarah Huffman Caudill (Boone) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Guy Huffman (Molly) of Morehead, Kentucky; grandchildren:  Mary Alexis, Ryan Philip, Bailey, Marley, Bo, Ally, Aryn and Mac; and a brother, John Charles Weathers (Connie) of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Jim was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Alice Weathers, January 1994, and a son, James Alexander Weathers, August 2005.

Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.

A funeral mass will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Jesus Our Savior Catholic Church with the Reverend Arturo Molina officiating.
