James Lloyd Stamper, age 54, of Ned Way, Morehead, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead after an extended illness.

Born April 12, 1967, in Morehead, he is the only child of Mose and Pauline Stevens Stamper of Morehead.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kimberly Hardin Stamper, whom he married March 11, 1989; one daughter, Emma Nicole Stamper at home; as well as many loving extended family members and friends.

James was currently employed as a paint technician at Guardian Industries in Morehead for the last 22 years and formerly worked at Stamper Paint & Wallpaper.  He enjoyed fishing, spending time on Cave Run, and especially being with his family and friends. James will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

Graveside services for family and close friends will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2021, Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Tony Hardin officiating.

Pallbearers will be Allen Brown, Aaron Barnhill, Chad Bush, Jason Adkins, Eddie Epling, Larry Hutchinson, and Daniel Hays.
