James Westerman, Sr., age 60, of Farley Road, Salt Lick, Kentucky, passed away Monday, September 3, 2007, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. Born July 18, 1947, in Dover, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Orin and Ivy Tift Westerman. He is survived by three sons, James Westerman, Jr., of Morehead, Kentucky, Matthew Westerman of Salt Lick, Kentucky, Timmy Westerman of Auburn, Kentucky; three brothers, David Westerman and Charles Westerman, both of Trenton, Kentucky, and Freddy Westerman of Elkton, Kentucky; two sisters, Brenda Arms of Woodlawn, Tennessee, and Judy Reeding of Guthrie, Kentucky; twelve grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Westerman was a former cabinet shop employee and dairy farmer. Graveside services will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2007, at the Highland Cemetery, in Guthrie, Kentucky, with Brother Jimmy Jackson officiating.
