James Lee Roberts, age 100, of Huber Heights, Ohio, formerly of Morehead, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017, at the Dayton Hospice Center in Dayton, Ohio. Born March 23, 1917, in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Robert C. and Pauline Lemaster Roberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Marie Mabry Roberts, on December 31, 1990. James is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Sue Roberts Hill of Huber Heights, Ohio; one sister, Glenna Powers of Somerset; two grandchildren, Natalie Hall Rainaldi and Bryan Hill; and four great grandchildren, Nichols and Nathan Rainaldi and Jackson and Emilee Hill. He was a former employee of Spring Grove Dairy and Carnation Dairy and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Christian Church. Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jackie Hinton officiating.
