James Everett -Jimmy- Wilson, age 54, of U.S. 60 East, Salt Lick, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2008, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Born June 19, 1954, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late John Paul and Christine Harris Wilson. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Ann Wilson Slone. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Deborah Lynn -Debbie- Plank Wilson, whom he wed September 16, 1995; one son, Terry (Shelley) Knipp of Morehead, Kentucky; three daughters, Mary (Matt) Donofrio of Ida, Michigan, Leigha Ann Knipp of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, and Shelli Renee (Jeff) Knipp Emmons of Salt Lick, Kentucky; and nine grandchildren, Sean Payne, Cassidy Moritz, Wilson Moritz, Julie Knipp, Lawrence Conn, Olivia Knipp, Brice Hale, Mason Emmons and Alex Emmons. Other survivors include seven brothers, Pastor Donnie Wilson of Mansfield, Ohio, Kirby Wilson of Morehead, Kentucky, Roy Wilson of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Denny Wilson of Morehead, Kentucky, Johnny Wilson of Morehead, Kentucky, Wayne Wilson of Florence, Kentucky, and Herbie Wilson of Flemingsburg, Kentucky; one sister, Nina Crain of Morehead, Kentucky; one half brother, Jeff Conley of Morehead, Kentucky, and three half sisters, Marlena, Mary, and Crystal Wilson, all of Morehead, Kentucky. Jimmy was a businessman and co-owner of Debbie-s Music ShowHouse and owner of Wilson Manufactured Homes, both in Salt Lick, Kentucky, and the former owner of Wilson-s Auto Sales in Morehead, Kentucky, and Springfield, Ohio. He enjoyed collecting cars, listening to family Bluegrass music, playing with his grandchildren, helping other people, and being anywhere family and friends gathered. Jimmy was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church in Owingsville, Kentucky. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with his best friend Pastor Jamie 'Moose' Stump officiating. Visitation is after 4 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. Visitation: Monday, September 15, 2008, after 4 p.m. Funeral: Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at 2 p.m.
