Obituary

The world lost a good man yesterday when God called upon James -Jim- Runyon, loving Dad, Papaw and Brother, to come join him in Heaven. James E. -Jim- Runyon, 68, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born December 6, 1941, in Kenova, West Virginia, he was the son of the late John Charles and Gladys Lucinda Money Runyon. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Garnett Pelphrey, Pauline Cassady, and Bertha Pack; two brothers, Charles Runyon and Billy Runyon; and one granddaughter, Clover Boyce. Jim is survived by four children, Cindy Jarrell of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Faye Webster of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Jamie Grubb of Clearfield, Kentucky, and David Runyon of Morehead, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Travis (Stephanie) Jarrell, Daniel (Karrie) Jarrell, Alicia and David Lochner, and Joseph and Johannah Grubb; one great grandchild, Gabriel Jarrell; and three sisters, Charlene Bradshaw of Portsmouth, Ohio, Aliene Hazelett of Goldsboro, North Carolina, and Sue Bentley of Rush, Kentucky. Funeral services and inurnment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Columbarium will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, Morehead, Kentucky Visitation: Private Funeral: Private Interment: Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Columbarium
