James E. Addison, 62, of Morehead, and Grant County, KY, passed away at home on July 10, 2023.

He was born on July 16, 1960, to William Ragon and Clara Durbin Addison in Covington, KY.

He is survived by his wife, Stella Ellington Addison; stepsons, James Ellington and Tom Caseman; sons, James T. Addison of Hebron and Jason Addison of Florence; his 3 grandchildren, Shelby, Raegan, and Jace.  Siblings, William Addison of Independence and Vicki Addison Merrill of Columbus, OH, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; as well as his first wife, Audrey Hall Addison.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Robert Addison and Elva Joan Newman.

He moved to Crittenden, in Grant County, when starting the 5th grade where he met his lifelong friends, Robert Dupuy, Roger Humphrey, Rusty Davis, and Robert McDaniel to name a few.  The adventures these guys had!

He later met and married his high school sweetheart, Audrey Hall Addison in 1978.  He then found Stella, whom he married in 2016 in the Hills of Kentucky where he could play music and fish.

He will be missed by those of us who knew and loved him.
