Jama Michelle Hoskins Bennett, age 48, of Boardwalk, Morehead, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, at U.K. Medical Center after a sudden illness.

Born September 12, 1973, in Harrison County, she is the daughter of Jayne Hoskins Henson of Cynthiana and the late Mike Rice.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, James Bennett; one son, Rodney Cameron Jones II of Morehead; three step children, James Martial Bennett of Huntington, Lauren Shockley, and Abigail Lynn Black, all of Huntington, West Virginia; and one brother, Paul David Hoskins of Paris.

Jama was a coordinator for First Step Services and enjoyed reading and especially spending time with her husband and son.

At her request, no services will be held.
