Jackquelene "Jackie" Puckett Howard, age 74, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born March 22, 1949, in Morehead, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Frank Puckett and Monnie Bell Sparks Puckett.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson: Ronald Paul Fraley; two brothers: Marvin Puckett and Clayton Puckett; four sisters: Geneva Puckett, Elma Irvin, Lana Puckett, and Linda Puckett.

Jackie is survived by her companion of 43 years, Larry Paul Adkins; three daughters: Tresa (Larry) Hignite of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Lesa Morris of Winchester, Kentucky, and Connie Dehart Easterling of Morehead, Kentucky; one son, Josh (Brianne) Mabry of Hillsboro, Kentucky; five grandchildren: Maranda (Julie) Terrell of Richmond, Kentucky, Scott Blevins of Haldeman, Kentucky, Brittany Henderson of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, and Jessica Danielle (Dustin) Oliver of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Ryan Mabry of Morehead, Kentucky; and one special daughter-in-law: Fallon Mabry of Morehead; 13 great grandchildren: Aubree McKenzie; Dakota, Charlie, Rayleigh, Cody, Aiden and Zander Oliver; Rocky, Candy and Milo Henderson; Brena Humphries; Skylan Stevens, Tyranny Crum.

Other survivors to cherish her memory include three brothers:  Jimmy Puckett of Haldeman, Kentucky, Robbie Puckett of Soldier, Kentucky, and Mike Puckett of North Carolina; three sisters: Violet Fields of Alabama, Pauline Brewster of Winchester, Kentucky, and Suzy Puckett of North Carolina.  Special thanks to her nieces, Michelle Wright and Robin Lands, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Jackie was a talented seamstress and homemaker who completed every job to perfection.  Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be forever missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, September 25, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Roy Lands and Brother Ronald Logan officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers:  Scott Blevins, Ryan Mabry, Darren Puckett, Doug Wright, Jarrett Puckett, and Dustin Hogge.  Honorary pallbearers: Dakota Oliver and Charlie Oliver.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 25, 2023, from 12 noon until the service at 2 p.m. at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
