Jackie Ray Basford, age 63, of Farris Branch Road, Wallingford, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015, at his residence. Born August 8, 1952, in Rowan County, he was a son of the late Ervin 'Jack' and Ruth Williams Basford. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Nancy Black Basford, whom he married June 7, 1980; four sons, Paul (Sandra) Basford and Gary Basford, all of Morehead, Kevin (Jacalyn) Basford of Brooksville, and Matthew (Tyler) Vice of Hillsboro; three daughters, Andrea (Robert) Stegall of Morehead, Jacquelyn (Tony) Basford of Maysville, and Tracy (Eric) Bussell of Grange City; one sister, Mae (Rick) Jones of Flemingsburg; 15 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Jackie was a foreman at Green Tree Forest Products and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, November 30, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with the Rev. James Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be his sons and Eric Clark and Jayden Bussell. Visitation is from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Monday, November 30, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
