Jack R. Blevins, age 75, of Elmridge Road, Mansfield, Ohio, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014, at Hospice of North Central Ohio in Ashland, Ohio. Born May 10, 1939, in Rowan County, he was a son of the late Noah Blevins and Lela Wilson Blevins Watson. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James P. Blevins, stepfather, Lawrence Watson, one daughter, Kathy Blevins, and four grandchildren. Jack is survived by two sons, Jack David Blevins of Mansfield, Ohio, and James Little of Ecorse, Michigan; three daughters, Diana Ferguson and husband James, Laura Blevins, and Paula Walker and husband Eddie, all of Mansfield, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Other survivors include two brothers, J. R. Watson and wife Linda of Morehead and Wendell Watson and wife Sharon of Florence; three sisters, Lillian Winkleman and husband Claude of Trenton, Michigan, Betty Jacobs of Morehead, and Francis Gehring of Dayton, Ohio. Jack was a retired welder with Dana Corporation in Ecorse, Michigan. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Myron 'Pete' Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Carter County. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
