Jack Baldridge, age 67, of U.S. 60 West, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2007, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born July 11, 1940, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Clarence and Bethel Staggs Baldridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Kautz, on September 13, 1990, and one son, Craig Baldridge, on April 20, 2006. Jack is survived by his wife, Barb Baldridge, whom he wed September 26, 1996; one daughter, DaNita McKenzie and husband Tony, and one son, Joe Baldridge and wife Paula, all of Morehead; two stepsons, Roger Barnes and wife Crystal and Mike Barnes and wife Beth, all of Elizabethtown, Indiana; four grandchildren, Kana Salyers, Bethany, Karli, and Emily Baldridge; three step-grandchildren, Steven, Joshua and Nash Barnes; two great-grandchildren, Aven and Myli Salyers; and two sisters, Sue Alley and Hannah White, both of Morehead. Also surviving are these children so lovingly cared for by -Mamaw Barb- and -Papaw Jack-: Emily and Braden Hammonds; Jacob and Kendall McDaniel; Christina and Samantha Grimes; Holly Dickens; Cole Fannin; Maci Manning; Natalie, Alexandria and Victoria Northcutt; and Jackson Pierce. Jack graduated from Morehead High School in 1958. A member of the high school band, he was proud to have marched in President Eisenhower-s Inaugural Parade. He was also a graduate of an auto-diesel technical college in Nashville, Tennessee. An employee of Spring Grove Dairy for 31 years, he retired from Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals after 15 years of service. He was a member and past master of Phelps Masonic Lodge No. 482 and a member of El Hasa Shrine. He was one of the original founders of the Morehead Jaycees. An avid knife collector, Jack was a member of the Central Kentucky Knife Club and the Case Collectors Club. He was a member of the Bluebank Church of God, where he served nine years as President of the Church Board. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 24 , 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Fannin, Rev. Richard Engle, Rev. Clarke Thomas and Rev. Vernon Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in the Baldridge Cemetery on U.S. 60 West. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Knapp, Tom Woods, Kenny McDaniel, Mathew Dickens, Greg Alley, and John Northcutt. Honorary pallbearers will be Leo Williams, Larry Brown, John Mynhier, Vernon Barber, Marion Crawford, Mort Campbell, Lynden Stevens, Ken Mullins, and Denny Northcutt. Visitation is after 3 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. Masonic services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Monday by Phelps Masonic Lodge No. 482. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bluebank Church of God Building Fund, P. O. Box 700, Morehead, KY 40351. Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals caring for arrangements. Visitation: Monday, July 23, 2007, after 3 p.m.; Masonic Service, 7:30 p.m. Funeral: Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at 1 p.m. Interment: Baldridge Cemetery on U.S. 60 West
