Obituary

Ivra (Ivy) Lillian Haney Siler, age 79, of Salt Lick, formerly of Cannel City, went peacefully to be with the Lord February 9, 2020, with her family by her side after a battle with lung cancer.

She worked at Dayton Press/McCall's for 14 years in Dayton, OH where she met her husband, Joseph Siler, of 49 years. They moved their life journey to Birmingham, AL where Ivy worked at the Vestavia Hills Sears for 15 years as the Head Salesperson winning many awards for her exceptional sales/customer service skills and knowledge.

In 1998 Ivy and Joe retired to Midland, KY, where they have lived together with their unending love for each other.

She was born January 27, 1941, in Cannel City, KY, a daughter of the late Raymond and Ruthie Phipps Haney.  She was preceded in death by her siblings, Emma, Carlene, Ray, Darrell and Jessie Haney, and stepson, Joseph Siler.

Ivy is survived by her devoted husband, Joseph Siler. Her daughter, Joyce Jeanette and Bob Rolfe.  Her stepchildren, Mitch Siler and Michelle Siler. Her siblings, Avalene and Clay Rumsey; Bessie Erwin; Carlotta and Mike Jackson; Darlene and George Nickel; Ralph and Debbie Haney and Junior Haney. Numerous nieces and nephews. Grandchildren, Michael (Dooger) and Shana Rolfe, Jenni Siler, Eric Siler, David Helms, Don and Kristin Siler and step grandchild Shawn and Sheila Rolfe. Great grandchildren, Austin, Madison, Isabella and Rosaleigh Rolfe, and Samantha Stephens. Special friends, Mayme Patton, Debbie Ramey, and Deborah Given.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends who dearly love her.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bush Stevenson officiating.  Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery in Midland.

Pallbearers: Chris Erwin, Anthony Haney, Russell Siler, Austin Rolfe, Michael Rolfe and Bob Rolfe.  Honorary pallbearer: Mike Jackson.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
