Ira Odell Donahue, age 87, of Donahue Drive, Clearfield, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at his residence. He was born October 6, 1925, in Morgan County, Kentucky, a son of the late Bert and Cora Byron Donahue. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Crystal Donahue and Orville Donahue, and four sisters, Lorene McKinney, Ethel Black, Zealliea Behnke, and Gladys Lemaster. His wife of 37 years, Winnie Mae Nichols Donahue, passed away on April 5, 2011, and twin children, Jerry and Teresa Donahue, also in 2011. Ira is survived by three sons, Dennis Donahue and Linda of Lincoln Park, Michigan, Danny Fox and Donna of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Joseph Fox of Lexington, Kentucky; two daughters, Linda Way of Orion, Michigan, Patricia Massey and Tim of Clearfield, Kentucky; one brother-in-law, Delbert Lemaster of Lexington, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ira was a member of Carpenters Local Union 472 in Ashland, Kentucky, for many years. He enjoyed fishing and played softball until he was 73 years of age. Ira was a lifelong member of the Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor David Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery with military honors by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126. Pallbearers will be Greg Fox, Ian Donahue, Tanner Boyd, Jason Martin, Tim Massey, Kai Lear, Donald Moore, and Michael Ratulowski. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Friday, May 10, 2013, after 6 p.m. Funeral: Saturday, May 11, 2013, at 1p.m. Interment: Brown Cemetery
