Inita Fultz Sparkman, age 87, of North Tolliver Road, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at Northpointe Health Care in Lexington. She was born February 4, 1931, in Rowan County to the late Charlie Fultz and Callie Bailey Fultz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death one brother, Bill Fultz, and one sister, Jeanette Fultz Madden. Her husband of 41 years, Roy Chester Sparkman, whom she married March 27, 1948, departed this life on October 22, 1989. She is survived by two sons, Clifton Sparkman of Morehead, and David Sparkman and wife Lyndy of Lexington; two sisters, Betty Jo Davis and Phyllis Utterback, both of Morehead; four grandchildren, Aaron, Chris, Callie, and Clara; three great grandchildren, Ruthanna, Abigail, and Daniel; and several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends. Inita retired from Morehead State University after 37 years of service in the Housekeeping Department and was a member of the Morehead First Church of God. She enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Allan Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery. Pallbearers: Paul Fultz, Jerrild Madden, Donnie Fultz, Dale Davis, Mark Davis, and Doug Morgan.
