Ina Alletha McDaniel Cornett, age 71, of Swim Road, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. She was born October 14, 1938, in Rowan County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Arnold and Ann Skaggs McDaniel. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia Johnson; one brother, Gary McDaniel; and one sister, Betty Catron. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Lloyd Frank Cornett, whom she married January 5, 1957; three children, Danny Cornett and Penny, Brenda Hamm and Bill, Theresa Bradley and Doug, all of Morehead; seven grandchildren, Amber Hamm Taulbee, Shane Hamm, Jeremy Cornett, Jordan Cornett, Samantha Bradley, and Emily Bradley, all of Morehead, Kentucky, and Joshua Johnson of Austin, Texas; and two great grandchildren, Jacob Taulbee and Sean Taulbee, both of Morehead, Kentucky. Also surviving are two brothers, Raymond McDaniel and Frank McDaniel, both of Morehead, Kentucky, and one sister, Alfreda Mullins of New Boston, Michigan. Ina was a homemaker and former employee of Bell Telephone Company. She served on the Gateway Area Development District Board of Directors, was a Girl Scout leader, a 4-H Council member and leader for more than 30 years, and a member of the Town and Country Homemakers Club. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Brian Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Clark Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shane Hamm, Josh Johnson, Jeremy Cornett, Jordan Cornett, Austin Barker, Robert Wagoner, Rob Catron, Frank McDaniel, Frank Helwig, and Logan Lovely. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Claire Hospice, MS Foundation, American Cancer Society, or American Heart Association. Visitation: Tuesday, August 24, 2010, after 5 p.m. Funeral: Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at 1 p.m. Interment: Clark Cemetery
