Howard Milton Jessee, age 77, of Bruce Road, Soldier, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2008, at his residence. He was born July 13, 1931, in Carter County, Kentucky, to the late Charles Haden and Gladys Dorothy Bradley Jessee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Lee Jessee, on August 17, 2002, and one brother, Harold Jessee. He is survived by his wife, Margie Marie Webb Jessee; two sons, Bruce Allen Jessee and Wayne Jessee, both of Soldier, Kentucky; two daughters, Carol Ann Shelton and Kimberly Sue Jessee, both of Morehead, Kentucky; one brother, Ernest Jessee of Englewood, Ohio; one sister, Yvonne Crockett French of New Castle, Indiana; and seven grandchildren. Howard was a self-employed auto-body mechanic and a member of the Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ray Glover, and Rev. Gayle Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Bradley Cemetery in Carter County, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Lukas Jessie, Mitchell Jessie, Gary Jessie, Roy Lands, Matthew Lands, and Steve Johnson.
