Hope Rachelle Layne, age 23, of Clearfield, was born March 28,1992, in Warren, Ohio, and passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015, at her residence. She is survived by her loving father and stepmother, Kenneth and Betty Sue Carter Layne of Clearfield; three brothers and their wives, Kenneth Benjamin and Sarah Layne of Richmond, Daniel Allen and Kayla Layne of Clearfield, Joshua Stephen and Amanda Layne of Wallingford; three sisters, Anna Marie Rucker and husband Jaron of Coal Grove, Ohio, Kala Layne of Austintown, Ohio, Corrina Morrow of Warren, Ohio; and a step sister, Paige Livingston and husband Ben of Lascassas, Tennessee; nieces and nephews, Kaytlyn, Jacob, Joshua, Josiah and Kennedy. She also leaves behind her paternal grandfather, Kenneth Laverne Layne of Springfield, Ohio; biological mother, Lisa Kay McCartney of Warren, Ohio; and many special friends including Felicia Conley. Hope was currently an employee of D & S Community Services and a student at Maysville Community and Technical College. She had a true passion for music, enjoyed home decorating, and loved her family and their special times together. Hope was a member of Solid Rock Apostolic Church, where she served as music director and pianist. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at Solid Rock Apostolic Church with Pastor Daniel Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Hope's three brothers and Nathaniel Colley, Austin Sloan and Ryan Whitt will serve as pallbearers.
