Henry Dale Craft, age 62, of Moores Flat Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born December 4, 1950, in Carter County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Henry Craft and Purcey and Norma Butler Curtis. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Arvis Curtis; one sister, Wilma Craft; and mother-in-law, Christine Perry. Dale is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sheila Whitt Craft; six children and their spouses, Michael and Stephanie Craft, Kim and Clarence Thomas, Daniel and Mary Craft, Anthony and Lorie Craft and their mother, Dixie Craft; Calvin Dale and Stephanie Craft, and Shaun Craft, all of Morehead; four granddaughters, Kierra Thomas, Cassandra Craft, Krysta Doyle and Amber Doyle; six grandsons, Robert Thomas, Derek Craft, Geoffrey Craft, Hunter Stevens Craft, Brandon Doyle and Justin Doyle; and one great granddaughter, Aiden Doyle. Other survivors include one brother, Avery Craft of Wedonia, Kentucky; seven sisters, Pam Young, Sue Puckett, Lora Perkins, Zourdah Howard, Bonnie Hamilton, Hattie Little, and Debra Layne, all of Morehead, Kentucky; father-in-law, Colvin Perry of Morehead, Kentucky; a host of nieces and nephews; cousins; other family members; and friends. Dale was a former construction worker who loved the great outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed NASCAR, playing cards, and being with family and friends. He was of the Church of God faith. Dale will be missed by many, but not forgotten. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Starcher officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery. Pallbearers: Calvin Dale, Michael, Anthony, and Daniel Craft, Kim Thomas, Toney Clevenger, Anthony Caldwell, and Robert Dale Thomas.
