Henrietta Muse Hinton, age 84, of Evans Sisters Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. Born April 18, 1928, in Muses Mills, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late William Henry Muse and Lillie Mae Clark Muse. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Colgan. Mrs. Hinton is survived by her husband of 68 years, Rev. Ford Hinton, whom she wed October 20, 1943; one daughter, Cindy Thompson and husband Randy; two sons, Billy Hinton and wife Lynda, Rev. Jack Hinton and wife Nettie, all of Hillsboro, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Sherry Blevins, Carry Harris, and Adam Ford Hinton; four great grandchildren, Cameron Ford Hinton, Micah Jo Hinton, Isaac Dale Harris, and Sierra Blevins; and one sister, Anna Jewell Mullins of Hillsboro, Kentucky. Mrs. Hinton was an employee of Randall Textron Corp. in Flemingsburg, Kentucky, during the early 1960s. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, quilting, cooking, and especially making her famous -fried dried apple pies.- Mrs. Hinton was a prayer warrior; reading the Bible and attending church were her main priorities. A helpmate to her husband, she traveled to many church services during his lifetime ministry. Henrietta was a member of the Muses Mills Christian Church. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. James DeAtley and Rev. Billie Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow in the Fleming County Cemetery. Pallbearers: Cameron Ford Hinton, Adam Ford Hinton, Mark Mullins II, Randy Harris, Tommy Staggs, and Harold -Hoppie- Himes. Honorary Pallbearers: Isaac Dale Harris, Micah Jo Hinton, Sierra Blevins, and Donnie Blevins. Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Thursday, July 12, 2012, 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Funeral: Friday, July 13, 2012, at 2 p.m. Interment: Fleming County Cemetery, Flemingsburg, KY
