Hazel Isabel Prichard Stiner was born on May 10, 1919, in Sandy Hook, Kentucky, a daughter of Lewis Napoleon Prichard and Laura Baber Hunter Prichard. She departed this life on January 18, 2016, at home surrounded by her family. Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Sarah Carolyn Prichard Crosthwaite (Winford) and Georgia Frances Prichard Brown (Ray) and one brother, Lewis Curtis Prichard (Ruth); a great-grandchild, Dillon Craig Brown; and her husband of 47 years, Len Francis Stiner. Surviving are her only child, Ronald Prichard Stiner and his wife Kay Hooper Stiner of Morehead, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Ronica Lynn Stiner Brown and her husband Kevin Brown London, Kentucky, and Jody Stiner Caudill of Morehead, Kentucky; four great-grandchildren, Ray Tyler Brown and his wife Julie Brown of Lexington, Kentucky, Morgan Jessilyn Brown of London, Kentucky, Allie Rebecca Caudill and Baylee Ann Caudill of Morehead, Kentucky. Her care providers, Sue Cain and Delpha Barker, lovingly cared for her. She also leaves behind many other family and friends who will sadly miss her. For 40 years, Isabel taught second grade in Olive Hill, Salt Lick and Sandy Hook, Kentucky, and Stinking Creek, Tennessee. She loved her students and they loved and remembered her right up to the day she passed away. Isabel was a member of Morehead United Methodist Church. While living in Sandy Hook, she served as a Sunday school teacher and many church related organizations and committees. Isabel enjoyed traveling, entertaining family and friends, sharing personal stories and life in general. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Northcutt and Son Home for Funerals in Morehead, Kentucky, with Rev. Aaron Mansfield officiating. Burial will follow at the Elliott County Memory Gardens in Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Northcutt and Son Home for Funerals. Kevin Brown, Tyler Brown, Larry Crosthwaite, Larry Crosthwaite Jr., Jack Brown, Travis Brown, and Tyler Kidd will serve as pallbearers.
