Harvey D. Stamper, age 85, of Whippoorwill Lane, Wellington, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020, at Morgan County ARH in West Liberty.

He was born June 4, 1935, in Wolfe County, a son of the late Tom and Bertha Ferguson Stamper.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Devonna Sue Back Stamper, who passed away March 13, 2016; six brothers, Hirman, Earnest, Ralph, Tommy, James "Curt", and Eugene "Gene" Stamper; and three sisters, Alta Lawson, Mildred Fields, and Bernice Botts.

Harvey is survived by six sisters, Corinne Manning, Bonnie Golden Simpson, and Debbie Spencer, all of Frenchburg, Christine Simpson and Fern Sallie, both of Wellington, and Wilma Back of Mt. Sterling; several nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

He was a farmer and a former employee of Whites Lumber Company. Harvey enjoyed woodworking and making and selling crafts with Sue at various festivals.  He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a. m. Friday, December 18, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Back Cemetery in Menifee County.

Pallbearers will be Brad Stamper, Chris Sallie, Barry Manning, Bill Stamper, Steven Spencer, and Calvin Hurt.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, December 18, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.

Covid mandates set forth by Governor will be observed.
